I would like to thank your center and more specifically the brilliant teacher Odile for organizing the French for Medical Professions course. I started the module with a little knowledge of medical French and now feel more confident after following this interesting course. I learned the basics that I need in the hospital, such as making an appointment for a patient or for myself, communicating with the patient, creating a medical file and doing clinical examinations. Not only through the course, but also through the interaction with the other students I learned a lot. The course increased the knowledge that is important for me to practice medicine in a French-speaking hospital. As a doctor from outside Europe who learned medicine in English, I first came into contact with French when I arrived in Belgium. This course was the only chance and option for me to learn medical French. I am very happy that I was able to follow the Medical French course. This training was essential for me.
I would especially like to thank my teacher Odile for her time and energy during the course. We felt and saw that she did her best to make the course interesting and to explain everything in a clear and simple way.
