Anyone who knows us will know that the adult education centres CVO Brussels Education Centre, CVO Meise-Jette, CVO Strombeek and CVO Vilvoorde have been good neighbors for years. When the Flemish Government announced new rationalization standards for minimum centre size a while ago, our centres decided to strengthen ties and meet more often. Together we were able to become stronger and better respond to the learning needs in our region.
The result is CVO SEMPER, the largest CVO in the wider region around Brussels and the northern edge of the city. With a dynamic team of no fewer than 360 qualified and experienced teachers, we are ready every day at one of our 46 teaching locations in Brussels or Flemish Brabant to challenge you and 15 000 other students to develop your knowledge, creativity or technical skills.
SEMPER means "always" and it is a reference to our core business, lifelong learning. SEMPER stands for a perpetuum mobile of learning experiences. Whether you need to brush up on your French or German for work, want to learn Dutch to better understand your children's teacher, try out Italian to get more out of your opera visit... perhaps you regret never getting your secondary school diploma, you have just dusted off your sewing machine, you want to send a WhatsApp to your grandchildren from your tablet... maybe it is high time that you learn to make stew or fulfill your dream to become an electrician, a web designer or an all-round salesperson, you are always welcome here - even if all you want is to meet new people!
We are also the school of BECI, the Brussels Chamber of Commerce. This gives us a pragmatic and entrepreneurial focus. We want to help you find a good job beyond the borders of the Brussels Region, or provide your company with fresh talent thanks to continuous education and vocational training. Together with our partners Actiris, VDAB and the Dutch Language House, we build bridges and provide roadmaps to help you on the road to work!
