At what level are you studying and why are you learning German?

I'm currently taking the “German 4” course, which corresponds to level A2-B1. My aim is to be able to speak German with my partner, who is Austrian. He's also learning French. Mastering German could also be useful for professional purposes.

How would you motivate someone to learn German?

German is a great language to learn. There's a logic to it that makes learning almost fun. Once you've understood the mechanics (e.g. declensions), you'll make rapid progress.

How would you describe your experience as a student at CVO Semper?

This is my second year at this school, and my experience has been very positive. The teachers are approachable, the course materials are well done, and the learning methods are varied. Everyone can choose the formula that suits them best (face-to-face, distance learning or hybrid). What's more, we speak exclusively German in class (no English translation, just synonym research), which creates a fully immersive environment.

What other languages do you speak? What do you think of the statement “The more languages you speak, the more human you are”?

I speak French, English and a little Dutch. In my opinion, knowing several languages allows us to discover other cultures, as well as enriches us intellectually.
