The training to become a childcare worker (formerly known as a childcare assistant) for school-age children also consists of two parts:
- The same basic modules (pedagogy, communication, first aid and care).
- Specific modules on supporting school-age children (attention to physical needs, special nutrition, attention to playing and learning, etc.)
