• Working with elements: shapes, lines, icons, illustrations
• Add images (Canva stock or your own images)
• Add and format text: fonts, hierarchy and readability
• Use colours: create your own colour range (house style)
• Grouping, arranging, transparency, alignment
• Exercise: design a flyer or poster

Canva for communication and social media media

• Formats for different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, stories, reels...)
• Reuse customisable templates (templates & duplicate)
• Work with brand sets (logo, colors, fonts)
• Set up a content calendar with Canva Pro (optional)
• Exercise: design social media post + story around your own theme

Presentations and documents in Canva

• Replace PowerPoint with Canva presentations
• Use transitions and animations
• Add interactive elements (buttons, hyperlinks)
• Export to PDF, PowerPoint or presentation mode
• Exercise: short presentation slide or digital brochure formatting
