Ana is taking German 5 and is a passionate classical singer. For her, German is much more than just a language. It is a world full of music, literature, and art.
“I study German because I am a classical singer and German plays a major role in my profession,” Ana says enthusiastically. “To me, German is music, literature, and art!” In the world of classical music, German is indispensable. Great composers such as Schubert, Schumann, and Wagner wrote masterpieces in German, and many operas and songs only truly gain meaning when you understand the language. For Ana, learning German helps not only to interpret texts better but also to convey emotions more powerfully on stage. Additionally, through the lessons, she discovers the rich German culture and literature. “Every lesson brings me closer to the language and to my passion,” she says.
