You can already communicate fairly easily in frequent situations and you can also take part in slightly more nuanced conversations. Now you would like to learn how to form more complex sentences and write a well organised text in English.

In this course you follow lessons at home at a fixed time via Zoom. This means you don't physically go to school. Your teacher will give you individual feedback.

Course content

What will you learn?

You will learn to discuss familiar topics in increasingly complex sentences with relative ease, to understand audiovisual fragments in more and more detail, and to fully understand (newspaper) articles as well as place them in a broad context.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

express your feelings and respond quickly to what someone else is saying
tell a story while making use of various past tenses
share your opinion about the environment and other global issues
describe changes
form hypotheses about the past, present and future

Entry requirements

To enrol for this level you must have a certificate of English 4 (= Engels Threshold 2).

If you do not have a certificate but already have some knowledge of the language, you can take a short level test online, either at one of our school offices or via our website. If your score is sufficient, you can then enrol for this level.

For this online course via Microsoft Teams you need a PC or laptop and a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and a webcam. You should also have some basic computer skills.
