You are an absolute beginner and you want to make yourself understood.

What will you learn?

In Arabic 1 you will take first steps to become a basic user of Arabic. You will learn how Arabic is pronounced and written.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • greet someone and introduce yourself
  • ask and answer questions about where you live, your family, your job...
  • order something simple in a café or a restaurant.
  • talk about your daily routines and your preferences
  • ask and show the way

You do not need any prior knowledge to enrol for this level. You start from scratch.

Since it's about distance lessons go you must have one PC or laptop immediately fast and stable internet connection, An sound card and possibly webcam. You must also be sufficiently computer literate.

You must be willing to log in the online learning platform on a regular basis to work on your assignments independently.

The price is composed of:

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 480
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 10 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
