You will learn how to control motors, LEDs, servos... based on input from sensors. This by using AI.

Arduino is designed to explore electronics and microcontrollers in a simple way. This course is designed for hobbyists, 'makers', DIYers, artists, artists and anyone interested in designing and making smart and creative objects.

If you already have the necessary components you can of course use them. If you don't have them, you can buy a kit with the necessary components from the first lesson.

What will you learn?

  • In this course, you will learn step-by-step to exploit some of the possibilities of the Internet of Things.
  • We do this using the arduino platform. But we also use the well-known ESP boards to realise a number of projects.
  • The programming techniques needed to control an arduino / ESP board.
  • Using the arduino to read environmental parameters: temperature, humidity, light/dark...
  • How to switch a lamp with an arduino, for example
  • Using a smartphone to control the arduino
  • And of course how to manage all this over the internet For this we use, among others, IFTTT and or similar services
  • Linking with "google assistant" for voice control, among other things.

To be able to follow this course, you must be familiar with the basics of ICT and the Internet. If you have not yet followed an ICT module with us, we ask you to take this simple one online entry test to pass.

For this course you will need an Arduino kit and various sensors and parts. You can purchase this building kit through the school.
