Course content
In this module, you will learn to optimise and manipulate digital images. We delve deeper into photo retouching, both simple and thorough retouching. Using various techniques, you learn to combine different images into a new image.
You will learn to make thoughtful creative choices when manipulating images, both form and content. Mastering the technique and workflow is central, but an understanding of light and composition also plays an important role.
We also pay attention to the technical side of digital files: resolution, colour management and knowledge of the various file formats are crucial for delivering high-quality images.
Entry requirements
We recommend you take the following modules first:
- Starting with photography
- Applied photography and photo optimisation
If you want to take several modules at once, you can combine this module with the other basic modules.

You have a digital camera, preferably with interchangeable lenses.
