What will you learn?

In this course, you will learn to communicate fluently and confidently in both a professional and personal context. You will learn to write a wide range of texts, including formal and informal e-mails, articles and reviews. You will also read and discuss all kinds of texts on various contemporary topics.

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

• apply basic grammar very fluently in written assignments
• read complex articles and invite your classmates to discuss and argue
• write a written analysis of a current topic and discuss it in class
• use more sophisticated vocabulary to replace words you have known for a long time
• empathize with the culture of the language area and communicate about it

To register for this level, you must have a German 6 certificate (= German Threshold 4 Oral + Written).

Did you obtain this a long time ago or is your German very good due to frequent use at work or while traveling and do you think you can handle this level? Then you can take a short level test at the school secretariat or on our website. If you score sufficiently, you can register for this level.
