Would you like to learn German before going on holiday? Do you want to be able to make a reservation, ask for directions, buy something in a shop, or order from the waiter?
In this short online course, you will get the hang of the basics!

It's also an ideal springboard to prepare your language skills for an Erasmus adventure in a German-speaking country.

In this course, you follow the lessons online at home at a fixed time .  You don't come to school. Your teacher will give you individual feedback.

In this course you will get a foretaste of the language and who knows, you might get a taste for it.
This way you will quickly be able to have a simple conversation during your stay there.

What will you learn?

  • to introduce yourself
  • to make a reservation (also by phone)
  • to ask basic questions
  • numbers, dates, telling the time
  • to explain your preferences
  • to ask for directions
  • to order something at a restaurant
  • to have a conversation in a shop
  • important words or typical useful expressions

You do not need any previous knowledge of German.

For this online course you need a PC or laptop and a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and a webcam. You should also have some basic computer skills.

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 80
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 3 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 20 (including evaluation and deliberation)
