For beginners who already have some notions of English. You want to learn the basic grammatical rules of English and have conversations in everyday situations.

Course content

What will you learn?

In English 2 you will learn common words and expressions that you can use in everyday conversations. Grammar topic for this level include tenses used in the present, past and future.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

talk about your work and school
describe a person or a room
order something simple in a café or a restaurant (fish and chips, please!)
speak about an event in the past
talk about your future travel plans

Entry requirements

To enrol for this level you must have a certificate of English 1 (= English Breakthrough).

If you do not have a certificate but already have some knowledge of the language, you can take a short level test online, either at one of our school offices or via our website. If your score is sufficient, you can then enrol for this level.

For this online course via Microsoft Teams you need a PC or laptop and a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and a webcam. You should also have some basic computer skills.
