In everyday situations you already feel comfortable in French, but you want to learn to express yourself in a more nuanced way.

You work on part of the material at home on your PC. 

For the distance part you work independently at a time of your choice on an online learning platform.
Your teacher will give you individual feedback.

What will you learn?

In this French 4 course, you will learn to understand authentic interviews and visual clips in more detail and formulate your opinion about them.

By the end of the course you will be able to, among other things:

  • describe and nuance stereotypes (Les Belges mangent des frites tous les jours! )
  • express doubt, surprise and other feelings, e.g. regarding eating habits
  • to warn or advise someone, e.g. with regard to cultural differences
  • Recognize different language variants (le boulot - le travail)
  • describe your engagement in a social context

 

To register for this level, you must have a certificate of French 3 (= French Threshold 1).

Do you have this but can't find it anywhere, or do you already know some French? Then you can take a short level test at the school office or on our website. If you score satisfactorily on this, you can register for this level.

For the distance learning part you must have a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and possibly a webcam. You must also be sufficiently computer literate.

You are willing to work on assignments regularly and independently through an online learning platform.

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 480
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 63 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
