What do you learn?

You learn to discuss familiar topics in increasingly complex sentences, to understand audiovisual fragments more thoroughly, and to understand (newspaper) articles in their entirety and to place them in a broad cultural and social context.

By the end of the course you can, among other things:

• express your feelings and react quickly to what someone else is saying
• tell an anecdote and use past tenses fluently
• express your views on the environment, social media and other current issues
• describe changes, e.g. in relation to education (Il a suivi un CLOM.)
• formulate hypotheses in the past, present and future

To register for this level, you must have a certificate of French 4 (= French Threshold 2).

Do you have this but can't find it anywhere, or do you already know some French? Then you can take a short level test at the school office or on our website. If you score satisfactorily on this, you can register for this level.

For the distance learning part you must have a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and possibly a webcam. You must also be sufficiently computer literate.

You are willing to work on assignments regularly and independently through an online learning platform.

The price is composed of:

• The legal enrolment fee: € 270
  (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
• Course supplies: € 12 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
