What will you learn?

In this French 6 course we brush up on your language skills. With targeted grammar exercises and varied vocabulary exercises, your language use will become increasingly accurate both orally and in writing. You learn to communicate with native speakers in a more nuanced way and to deal more effectively with everyday text material.

By the end of the course you will be able to, among other things:

• speak at length about the important events in your life
• understand and report on complex news items
• elaborate on character and physical attributes and personal relationships quickly retell a conversation in indirect speech 
• empathize with certain aspects of the culture of the language area, e.g. mobility, cultural heritage (la journée du patrimoine", Unesco)

To register for this level, you must have a certificate of French 5 (= French Threshold 2).

Do you have this but can't find it anywhere, or do you already know some French? Then you can take a short level test at the school office or on our website. If you score satisfactorily on this, you can register for this level.

For the distance learning part you must have a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and possibly a webcam. You must also be sufficiently computer literate.

The price is composed of:

• The legal enrolment fee: € 270
  (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
• Course supplies: € 12 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
