Health Apps & Medical data: your health and file in your pocket

In this short, practical course, you will discover how to use your smartphone to monitor your health and view your medical data securely online. Learn how apps help you live a more active, conscious and healthy life. And how you can access your medical file, vaccinations and lab results via apps and official platforms.

Course content:

  • What are health apps and how do they help you?
  • Overview of popular apps: exercise, nutrition, heart rate, sleep.
  • How do you consult your medical data online (e.g. via My Health, health insurance apps, hospital portals)?
  • How do you choose safe and reliable apps?
  • Practical exercises: we install and test health apps together and look at how to log in safely to medical platforms.
  • Tips for using your smartphone as a health coach and a safe health folder.

To take this course, you must be familiar with basic Windows 11 and Internet operations. If you haven’t done an ICT module at our school yet, we ask you to take this simple online entry test.

The price is composed of:

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 45
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 2 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 20 (including evaluation and deliberation)
