Would you like to further develop your English skills, but can’t find a module at your level that fits your schedule? Or do you not have the time to commit to a traditional course? Then you are very welcome to join this short course series at B1 level (English 3–6)!
The course consists of a series of eight thematic lessons, for example on food, money and business, travel, shopping, and more. You will learn vocabulary and grammar at your level and practise reading, listening and speaking skills. You will work individually on your language development under the guidance of an experienced teacher, helping you move up to the next step on your learning pathway. In addition, you will work together with other learners to practise your skills.
At the end of this module, you will receive a partial certificate, but not a level certificate.
This course is ideal for learners who want to improve their English but cannot find a suitable course in the regular programme and do not need a formal level certificate.
You must have at least an English Waystage certificate (level 2), but you are also welcome with a Threshold certificate (levels 3, 4, 5, and 6). The teacher will guide you at your own level.
