This module will help you prepare for an oral or written job application.

What will you learn?

Are you looking for a job? Do you want to learn the appropriate language to use in a written and oral job application? This module helps you prepare for a good job application.

  • You look for interesting job offers through advertisements, temporary employment agencies, websites, etc.
  • You understand the job description, profile, offer, ... in a job offer.
  • You learn to write a good cover letter and CV.
  • You prepare yourself for a job interview: you learn to introduce yourself appropriately, talk about your education and work experiences, your positive and negative qualities, your skills, ...
  • You learn about the importance of social media and tips and tricks when applying online.

This course is intended for students who are taking or have taken Dutch as a second language. This course is not for native Dutch speakers.

You need at least a Threshold 2 certificate.

For this online course via Microsoft Teams, you need a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and webcam. You must also have minimum computer skills.

The price is composed of:

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 12
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 3 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 20 (including evaluation and deliberation)
