Your Portuguese is already very good. However, you do not yet speak or write flawlessly and you would like to continue working on this.

What will you learn?

This Portuguese 6 course further refines your language skills. Structures and vocabulary are refreshed and expanded so that you become increasingly accurate, both orally and in writing. 
You learn to communicate more fluently with native speakers and empathise with certain cultural aspects, not only of Portugal, but also of other countries worldwide where Portuguese is spoken.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • speak and write extensively about important events in your life
  • express your opinion clearly and comprehensively in a discussion
  • follow and comment on current affairs in the written and spoken press
  • recognise and express character and physical attributes
  • exchange recipes; talk about film, art, literature from Portuguese-speaking countries

To register for this level, you must have a certificate of Portuguese 5 (= Portuguese Threshold 3).

Don't have this but already know some Portuguese? Then you can take a short level test at the school secretariat or on our website. If you score satisfactorily on this, you can enrol for this level.

The price is composed of:

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 480
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 12 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
