You can already master most common situations in Spanish, but now you also learn to make focused argumentative statements. You will learn to construct complex sentences and write a coherent text.

What will you learn?

You can discuss familiar topics with relative ease in increasingly complex sentences, you understand all kinds of audiovisual fragments more and more thoroughly, and you can understand a (newspaper) article in full content and place it in a broad cultural and social context.

By the end of Spanish 5 you will be able to:

  • express your feelings and react quickly to what someone else says
  • tell an anecdote using all past tenses
  • express your opinion about the environment, ecology and different world problems
  • make hypotheses in the past, present and future
  • use a number of expressions and sayings in context

To enrol in this level, you must have a certificate of Spanish 4 (= Spanish Threshold 2).

Did you obtain this a long time ago but can no longer find it anywhere, or have you ever stayed for a shorter or longer time in a Spanish-speaking country, and already speak the language quite well? Then you can take a short level test at the school office. If you score sufficiently on this, you can enrol for this level.

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 480
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 43 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
