You will learn to work with Word, Excel and images.

What will you learn?

  • Editing text with Word
    • You learn how to enter a text correctly. This may seem obvious, but it often goes wrong here.
    • You use Word's main features to format a text: make titles stand out, provide plenty of white space and ensure a calm page layout.
    • Many of the techniques you learn here can be used in many other applications.
  • Processing numbers in Excel
    • In Excel, you learn to perform simple calculation tasks.
    • You learn how to enter numerical data in a structured way and how to put the computer to work to make calculations with that data.
    • If any of the numbers change, Excel automatically recalculates all the results.
    • You will learn how to neatly format the worksheet.
    • You learn to store the information in a colorful graph.
  • Editing images and photos
    • You learn how to save images or photos on your computer.
    • You learn how to insert your image or photo in Word or Excel.

All CVO Semper students can use Microsoft Office free of charge for one year. As soon as you have registered, you will find instructions on our online learning platform Moodle.

 

To be able to follow this course, you must be familiar with the basics of ICT and the Internet. If you have not yet followed an ICT module with us, we ask you to take this simple one online entry test to pass.

The price is composed of:

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 135
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
  • Course supplies: € 10 (including course material and/or digital material and/or raw materials, ...)

Number of class times: 60 (including evaluation and deliberation)
