Business English Vantage B2 @HOME part 1

What will you learn?

In the Business English Vantage (ERK B2) course, you learn to express yourself more confidently both in writing and orally in varied business situations. You will master professional vocabulary and improve your grammatical knowledge with practice exercises. 

At the end of this course, you will be able to: 

• have professional conversations (e.g. negotiating) 
• make presentations (e.g. present a product) 
• interpret financial texts (e.g. statistics) 
• write business texts (e.g. apply for a training course) 
• understand current image and audio clips (e.g. economic news) 

To enrol for this level, you must have at least a certificate of English 6 (= English Threshold 4) or of Professional English Threshold (ERK B1) or you have achieved this level in the short level test. During the first class, the teacher will check whether you are in the correct level.  If not, the teacher will work with you to find a module that fits better. 

If you have a certificate of English 4 (= English Threshold 2) or English 5 (= English Threshold 3), we recommend you take Business English Threshold (ERK B1). 

Specific professional prior knowledge is not required. 

(For semester 2 : you can start in ‘part 2’ without prior knowledge of ‘part 1’) 

For this online course via Microsoft Teams, you must have a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and webcam. You must also have minimal computer skills.
