What will you learn?

In this Professional English 3B course, you will learn to express yourself more confidently in various business contexts, both in writing and orally. You will master professional vocabulary and perfect your grammatical knowledge with practical exercises.

By the end of this course you will be equipped to:

Conduct professional conversations, such as negotiations, with ease and confidence.
Deliver engaging and effective presentations, such as pitching a product or presenting a proposal.
Interpret and analyse financial texts, such as statistics or market reports, with precision and accuracy.
Compose clear and concise business texts, such as emails, memos or applications.
Understand and engage with various forms of visual and audio content related to current events and business news.

Entry requirements

To enrol in this level, you have to at least have a certificate of English 6 (= English Threshold 4) or Professional English 3A (= English Vantage pb2), or you have passed a short level test. During the first class, the teacher will check if you are at the right level. If this is not the case, the teacher will help you find a module that suits you better.

If you have an English Threshold 4 certificate or higher, Professional English 3 might be a better match for you.

Prior professional knowledge is not mandatory for enrolment in the course, as it is designed to cater to learners from various fields and industries.

For this online course via Zoom you need a PC or laptop and a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and a webcam. You should also have some basic computer skills.
