What will you learn?

In the Business Dutch Vantage (CEFR B2) course, you will develop the skills and confidence needed to communicate effectively in a range of professional settings, both in writing and speaking. Through practical exercises, you will gain mastery over professional vocabulary and improve your grammatical proficiency.

By the end of this course you will be equipped to:

  • Conduct professional conversations, such as negotiations, with ease and confidence.
  • Deliver engaging and effective presentations, such as pitching a product or presenting a proposal.
  • Interpret and analyse financial texts, such as statistics or market reports, with precision and accuracy.
  • Compose clear and concise business texts, such as emails, memos or applications.
  • Understand and engage with various forms of visual and audio content related to current events and business news.

To enrol in this course, you must have a minimum certification of Dutch Threshold 4 or Professional Dutch Threshold (CEFR B1) or demonstrate an equivalent level through a  short level test. Your teacher will evaluate your proficiency level during the first lesson to ensure that you are correctly placed. If necessary, your teacher will work with you to find a module better suited to your skill level

For those with a certification of Dutch Threshold 2 or Dutch Threshold 3, we recommend that you consider enrolling in the Business Dutch Threshold (CEFR B1) course .

Prior professional knowledge is not mandatory for enrolment in the course, as it is designed to cater to learners from various fields and industries.

For this online course via Microsoft Teams or Zoom you need a PC or laptop and a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card and a webcam. You should also have some basic computer skills.

  • The legal enrolment fee: € 72
    (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
