During the information session

you will be introduced to the program
you will receive all the practical information
you can register for an intake interview with:
- the program counselor
- language and learning support
- and/or VDAB

Are you a non-Dutch speaker? You will also take a language test at that time.

Course content

What do you learn in the logistics assistant training in healthcare?

During the logistics assistant in healthcare training you will learn how to effectively support nurses and care assistants in their care tasks for care recipients.

The focus is on developing skills for household tasks such as preparing meals, tidying up and washing dishes, making beds, maintaining rooms, and transporting samples and documents. T

Practical information

How long does a training as a logistics assistant take?

The model course lasts 5 months and takes place during the day. It can also be tailored to your needs. You are doing an internship.

There are different starting dates.

In Wolvertem you can start in September and in February.
In Vilvoorde you can start in September and in February.

This flexibility in start dates and class days offers participants the opportunity to tailor the training to their personal schedule and preferences.

Can I get exemptions for this course?

It is quite possible that you do not have to take all modules, because you have already obtained a certificate or diploma! During the intake we check which exemptions you are entitled to.

How much does the training cost?

You pay max. € 1 per lesson hour with a limit of € 200 per semester. Reduction of registration fee is possible. In addition, you pay You pay an operating fee per module.

Entry requirements

Age: To register you must be at least 18 years old. If you turn 18 before 31 December, you can start in September.
Language level: Because all subjects are taught in Dutch, you must be proficient in both spoken and written Dutch. As a non-native speaker, you should have obtained a certificate in Dutch, Threshold 4 (B1)
ICT (taught in Dutch only): You possess basic ICT skills, and it is helpful if you have access to a computer and an internet connection at home. Please do not hesitate to contact us if this is not the case.
Internship: To be admitted to a workplace you are medically fit and up to date with the hepatitis B vaccinations.
