A city greeter is on holiday every day

A CITY GREETER IN BRUSSELS

Eric Theunis eagerly takes Italian classes every week (IT 8+, an oral module at the highest level) but wants to use his knowledge in everyday situations more often. And so he lets Italy come to him at the times when he is not in Italy himself.

The concept of a city greeter is very simple: as a Brussels native, he regularly takes an Italian family to explore the city. They ask, he talks and so Brussels becomes a bit like Rome or Milan for him too.
