You write quite French, but you feel it could be smoother. Your sentences could be clearer, your word choice more precise, your style better. You want to understand difficult newspaper articles and opinion pieces, even if you don't know every word in the text. And in terms of topics, too, you want to break away from the beaten path.

Course content

In this course you will learn, among other things

to read all text types (informative, argumentative, prescriptive, narrative) in detail at C1 level
to refine your vocabulary in various areas such as living environment, mobility, ecology, …
to use complex grammatical structures and all logical conjunctions in context in the following written productions:
emails and letters: both formal and informal
pamphlets and petitions
reports
summaries
critical reflections

Evaluation takes place continuously via a portfolio system and 4 online tests.

Entry requirements

To enroll in this level, you must have a certificate of French 7 Written (= Vantage Written).

Do you have this but can't find it anywhere anymore, or do you already know French? Then you can take a short placement test at the school's secretariat or on our website. If you score sufficiently on this, you can enroll in this level.

For this online course, you must have a PC or laptop with a fast and stable internet connection, a sound card, and a webcam. You must also possess basic computer skills.
