This module introduces you to the basic techniques of photography.
This module introduces you to the basic techniques of photography.
You will get to know your camera, use the menus and basic settings such as recording mode, focus mode, file type, video mode, etc. You will learn what the differences are between lenses and when to use which lens.
You will learn about the exposure triangle and how to use shutter speed, aperture and ISO to get a good exposure. With the white balance you can ensure a good colour reproduction. You will learn how to focus on a specific point and how to use depth of field consciously. You will learn to display movement in razor-sharp detail or, on the contrary, out of focus.
In this module you will also investigate shape and light. You will learn to make images with attention to composition and content.
You will also become acquainted with the possibilities of importing and organising images on the computer.
You must have a digital camera with video function.
If you do not have a camera yet, we will help you to make a good choice during the first lessons.
